  • My core responsibility was developing brand communication material to maintain consistency in their vision, look, and feel in all written and visual content.Worked with the team to develop innovative and best practice insights on communications strategy and final execution.
    Wins in this role included;
    • Overseeing the development of content for different clients’ campaigns for dissemination across different channels (radio, print, TV, digital), most notably, Club Pilsner – Unleash Your Beat
    • Worked as part of the continent-wide team for the MTN “Wear It for Me” campaign, encouraging people to wear masks during the COVID-19 pandemic.
    • I also oversaw the development of different digital content that tapped into the day’s news, turning topical issues into communication pieces that benefited the brand, generating awareness of their product and service offering.

    • MTN Uganda; Developed campaigns for innovative services and product offers such as MOKASH, a product providing banking services for the unbanked on their cellphones.
    • The Sheraton Kampala Hotel; Developed campaigns and copy highlighting special offers.
    • Vivo Energy Uganda; Developed campaigns launching different products, announcing partnerships with other brands, and rewarding valued customers
    • Uganda Breweries- Developed campaigns for different brands, including Uganda Waragi (Different people. Same spirit. Go Loco for Coco – for the coconut-flavoured variant of the flagship gin), Black Bell – Developed the brand’s relaunch campaign.
    • Stanbic Bank – Worked on the campaign launching FlexiPay, the bank’s mobile payment solution.

  • My core role was to support the Art Directors in developing concepts, strategies, and client presentations and coordinating the development of campaigns. These included;
    • Worked on campaigns promoting road safety for school children (Tullow Oil), discouraging vandalism of electrical equipment (Umeme), and highlighting the benefits of investment clubs (dfcu Bank)
    • Launched 3G Internet and One Africa products for airtel and Totalenergies’ range of lubricants and Awango Solar Powered products to make life easier for people in rural areas.
    • Developed and launched thematic and tactical campaigns for different brands under Nile Breweries.

Responsible for designing publications and additional print collateral for brands such as The Habari Network and the Africa Trade Insurance Agency. Also delivered documentary scripts for the Uganda Wildlife Authority.
