Different People, Same Spirit.

Challenge: At a time when divisions across tribe, politics, generation, and social class increasingly shaped public discourse, our challenge was to reaffirm Uganda Waragi’s role as a unifier, living up to its nickname, “Uganda’s Spirit.”

Insight: While Ugandans differ in many ways, they share one defining trait: the ability to come together. At bars, weddings, football screenings, concerts, and social gatherings, people will set aside their differences to share stories, laughter, and good times over a drink.

Solution: We created “Different People. Same Spirit.” A platform built on the simple truth that despite our differences, we remain connected by a shared Ugandan spirit, one defined by warmth, humour, resilience, hospitality, and togetherness. The campaign positioned Uganda Waragi as a reflection of those shared values, a brand already present in the moments where unity naturally happens. This gave the platform flexibility to stretch across culture, music, nightlife, sport, and everyday social occasions while consistently reinforcing the brand’s role as the spirit that brings Ugandans together.
