The ‘about’ section of their LinkedIn profile reads, “We promote brands & causes via social media by challenging our creative community on Twitter to respond with instinctive ideas to daily advertising briefs & reward the best entries.”
Sounds about right, but for me, it’s an outlet. A chance to break free from the day to day briefs and let loose. It’s an opportunity to try, dare and maybe even flex. All the “Client won’t approve” ideas, the “market won’t get it” dismissals die once I login and tackle the brief of the day.
{It’s also a great place to sneak in dad jokes}
The briefs are direct, “advertise this”, “advertise that”. I figure I’ll share the submissions that made it. And then, under duress, and maybe after a few shots, the ones that got away.
